What’s inside?
The veggie boxes are a mix of seasonal vegetables, herbs and occasionally some fruit. We will try and ensure that each week the basics are covered – onions, potatoes and leafy greens. We are growing such a wide variety of veggies that we can’t squeeze them all into the box so we will try and keep each week interesting by including different things from the garden.
Please note that the salad mix and micro greens need to be washed before consumption.
We are able to slightly personalise the veggie boxes. For example, if you do not eat potatoes, just let us know and we will substitute them with something else.
How is the veggie box packaged?
We are using plastic Sistema boxes with a lid as the veggie boxes. The reason we have chosen this box is to ensure that the vegetables are kept fresh inside. Also the box can be easily washed and reused.
Each family/customer will have 2 named Sistema boxes that will be rotated. On the day of delivery, just leave the box by the front doorstep and Ben or Adrian will collect this when they drop off the new veggie box. Please make sure that the empty veggie box is in a clean state.
Inside the veggie box, we try not to package the vegetables unless necessary. If we do need to package anything then we try to use paper bags. The salad mix may need to come in a biodegradable plastic bag.
When storing your veggies, try and use airtight containers in the fridge, as this will keep them nice and fresh for longer
We will deliver the veggie boxes each Wednesday sometime after lunch. We will leave the veggie box at you front door or nearst shady spot. If you want your box left at a different spot please leave the old box where you want the new box to be placed.

How do I pay?
We use Xero for our accounting and the easiest way to pay will be to set up a bank transfer to Petit Jardin:

If you would like a regular invoice sent out please let us know and we can arrange this.
The cost of the box is $50 GST incl(free delivery). Please email us if this payment method does not suit you and we’ll work something out.
How do I cancel or take a break from the veggie boxes?
If you could give us 48 hours notice that you no longer need a veggie box that would be great. We will email you about collecting the empty veggie box.
